a massage therapist from Manhattan
“Nell saved my marriage. After two births and no time for myself, my husband and me were going crazy. Until we both started seeing Nell. It was better than ‘therapy’.”
— D. Cohen, Marketing Consultant
Nell Waters, LMT
Whole Body Tonic has been an evolving practice of mine, in advanced bodywork, since 2006. I was trained here and in Oregon between 1996-1999. When I’m not fixing people’s bodies I can be found in my kitchen crafting new infusions, or reading the New Yorker and chasing good coffee. In addition to owning Whole Body Tonic, I teach at the SF School of Massage & Bodywork and from 2008-2011 was the co-director for their Advanced Massage program. I have also had the gift of attending 25 births during 2004-2009 when I was an active doula, here in San Francisco. Creativity and collaboration keep me motivated so at the start of 2011 I moved my practice full time into historic Dogpatch, in the old Canning Building, and inside Acupuncture Kitchen.

Gina joined Whole Body Tonic almost immediately upon landing in the Bay Area. A transplant from Florida, she was an instructor at the Florida School of Massage and has been refining her gift for Cranio Sacral work since 1999. But when she’s not massaging you may see her driving really really fast. She’s a certified race car driver and formerly the official massage therapist for both Risi Ferrari Competizione and Level 5 Motorsports, two world famous race car teams. She is an expert in the massage field.
